Chinese dessert (点心 in Chinese ) is slightly different from western cuisines. They may differ in taste, texture and shape. The most famous Chinese dessert group should be dim sum (Cantonese dessert). Dim sum halls are also the most popular destinations for Chinese people. In addition, there are lots of famous dessert in China, for example Su style dessert.
Traditionally, Chinese dessert usually is served with tea in teahouse especially in Southern China. But things changed a lot now. For example Hong kong style egg tart is almost always available in every bakery store. And lots of desserts are served as breakfast.
